Whipped cream is arguably the best dessert topping, and brown sugar is arguably the best dessert ingredient. The 2 put together? So. Darn. Good. Perfectly sweet, ultra-fluffy, but with a depth of flavor from the brown sugar that you just don't get from the normal stuff. This brown sugar whipped cream might just be your new go-to.
About
Classic, crowd-pleasing whipped cream is stepped up a notch. This brown sugar whipped cream is where its at, y’all! The brown sugar brings more depth of flavor than you’ll find in traditional whipped cream, with the same amazing, airy texture.
It's super easy to make, with just 3 ingredients, and it pairs well with so many other desserts. In the picture above, I put it on top of my New York Cheesecake recipe, then drizzled it all with salted caramel sauce, and UGH that is probably what heaven tastes like.
Once upon a time, back when I was young and dumb (actually this lasted until I was about 18 but let’s not get into details), I didn’t like whipped cream.
“What?”, you say? “Are you a crazy person?”, you say? The answer is, yes, I think I was a crazy person. I do sincerely regret all those years of my life that I lived without whipped cream. BUT. I am here so you never have to experience that tragedy yourself. So quick! Make yourself a batch of this and experience all of this goodness that this whipped cream has to offer, and during your prayers tonight, make sure you send one up to the Big Guy thanking him for putting heavy cream and sugar in our lives. Amen.
